Why to Win? How to Win? What is Winning? Who truly wins?

Each epic journey begins with the first step. Each success story was once a failed attempt. Each empowered individual once faced the biggest and overwhelming odds.

What distinguishes the ones who do something extraordinary from those who do not? How does it truly differ why some people win while others can not? What separates winners from losers? — The answer is PURPOSE!

Purpose, a word that is both a noun and a verb… It is defined as the precursor to intent or intention by means of its application and objectivity. Alternatively, it is also a subject under discussion that leads up to a course of action through execution.

If you look at the heavy words it might seem pretty intimidating at first but if you go through the subject matter with the ability to discord the core philosophy behind opposite sides of the explanation you will understand that the core of this word is in its actionable meaning. It is the purpose that thrusts will power and this will power to do things is what distinguishes the ordinary from the extraordinary.

The world has come to a time where information and knowledge are no more closely guarded secrets locked behind some safe or doors. You can literally find all the knowledge that you want at your fingertips. (You are most probably reading this on the go or in the middle of something)…

One tip! — — just look up, look around… think!

What are you doing? Where are you? Who is around you? Is it okay to indulge in what you are currently doing or something else takes the priority in action?

Same thing that you just did applies to this difference between Winning actually and aspirational winning. A lot of times it happens that we lose sight of the bigger picture in the journey that has multiple trivial pursuits and senseless gratifications along the way. There might be situations that give you a dopamine rush by enabling the indulgence into small things that do not matter while getting you to lose the larger vision and broad spectrum of your ability to make considerable conquests. I call it winning battles but losing the war…

Such is never the case with those who truly know why they are doing what they do and what they are doing while they have to do other things too… Purpose is the master key to winning as it paves way for self accountability for action over indulgence.

So the next time you have to do something, attach it to a larger purpose, a bigger goal and a better perspective so that each success is accounted for by the sum of all our failures!
